Cake toppers keep for 6 months sealed in their bag, keep them somewhere cool and dry but not in the fridge.

These are great for customising your cupcakes for a special occasion.
You need to choose a good photo though.
As they are printed on rice paper the picture may not be as sharp as it is on paper, and as you are reducing the photo to be tiny you also lose some detail. I would practice shrinking your picture down on the computer first to see if you can still make out the image. You could end up with a blurry blob of colour on top of your cakes that no one can work out!
We used an old black and white image with 2 faces on it. We were very happy with the results.
