Edible wafer was ok, but thin, so the dark colour from the chocolate cake showed through, which rather spoiled the effect. Would probably choose an icing topping next time. Note to others: if you’re planning to use one of these on a chocolate cake, probably best to choose a custom photo that has a dark background. Also, I found the children weren’t keen on eating the wafer.
